Do you think that choosing a carpet that is dark and has
a lot of color specks will hide dirt and stains?
     
  No carpet will hide spills and spots for long if it goes
untreated--eventually those spills will turn into
permanent stains! That's why it's important to
choose a type of carpeting that resists staining.
We will be happy to give you a stain removal guide
recommended for the type of carpeting you choose.
We also carry carpet care products to help maintain
the life of your floor.
I want you to lay the new carpet over my old carpet and pad.
This will make the new carpet seem extra "plush," right?
     
  NO! Density and gauge of the carpet fiber, and installation
over a quality cushion (pad) are what give you the "plush"
feel. Laying the new materials over the old ones will
actually harm your new carpet. Your cushion acts as a
shock absorber and the effectiveness of your new cushion
would be reduced with the improper installation of new
materials over old ones.
I am a Senior Citizen and don't drive. Is there any way for me
to get samples of your products?
     
  Absolutely! Don Greer's Fashion Floors has always
provided in-home service. We give free estimates and
free design consultations at your home for all of the
products we carry.
I have my own decorator and prefer to use her, instead of the
in-store design consultant. Will I offend your staff if I bring
in my decorator?
     
  Not at all. We work with many decorators. We are here
to give you as much--or as little help as you desire.
Our sales staff will give you information on the products
we carry and on the performance of the products. Your
decorator can then concentrate on other points of
importance such as color, texture, etc., consistent
with your home or business.
Why did it take so long to get my custom Window Treatments?
       
  Window Treatments and Draperies normally take six to
eight weeks. During busy periods of the year, custom
treatments could take around 12 weeks to produce. Keep
in mind that Workrooms receive custom orders from many
people and turn-around times are based on each Workroom's
schedule. Custom Window Treatments do take time to make
but they are well worth the wait!!
 
  I received a bid from you and another person refinish my hard wood
Why was your bid higher--a refinish is a refinish isn't it?
       
    We don't think all refinishing is created equal! Our 100% DUST FREE HARDWOOD REFINISHING system is an $80,000.00 truck-mounted sanding and evacuation unit. As the technician sands, the dust and debris are evacuated back to the truck's holding tanks. Because we aren't using a sander with an attached bag, there is no debris or dust to be exhausted back into your home.

Satisfied clients all agree: The finished work was worth the price difference.
 
  Is your hardwood refinishing really dust free?
     
    YES! It really is 100% DUST-FREE! The only way you will find dust is:
  • If we have to sand open stair treads--even then, the dust will be minimal.

  • If a hose would break or some other equipment failure.
 
  The refinish is just a cosmetic touch up, right?
       
    No, it's a complete refinish and your floor will look new.
